Starting place: 38241 Bujanov
Destination: 4262 Leopoldschlag

Horse railway hiking trail stage 1A from Bujanov to the Eisenhut state border in Leopoldschlag.
The Bujanov horse railway station building is located right next to the railway station in Bujanov. This beautifully preserved building houses a small horse-drawn railway museum, but without fixed opening hours.

The hike is mostly on small tarmac roads or forest paths. Again and again you pass through small villages. In the forest sections, there are always beautifully restored bridges and passages of the horse-drawn railway. Just before the state border is the small village of Rybnik. Here you will find memorial stones to the two architects Gerstner and Schönerer.
You cross the state border in the village of Eisenhut in the municipality of Leopoldschlag.
