Hiker's golf

1st WANDER-BAUERNGOLF Franking/Holzöster am See The Oberinnviertler Seenplatte in the south-west of Upper Austria is a holiday region with very special attractions. A special attraction is the first "Hiking Farmer's Golf", which is designed to encourage visitors to enjoy an unforgettable hike through the area of the municipality of Franking. Together, a total of 17 "Wander-Bauerngolf" stations were set up along the most beautiful hiking trails over many kilometres. In a very simple way, a kind of "oversized hiking trail" was created, which leads over 5 or 14 kilometres through forests, meadows, fields and above all through the enchanting moorland landscape. New and impressive "farmer's golf courses" (similar to miniature golf courses) have been constructed from old agricultural equipment. The club can be used wonderfully as a walking stick.
