Samareiner Jakobsweg

The starting point is the town centre of St. Marienkirchen an der Polsenz (approach from Wels or Eferding on the Wallerner Bundesstrasse - B134). You can park at the community centre, at the kindergarten or at the outdoor pool.
Trail type: only a few inclines, accessible with a pushchair. Walking time: approx. 1.45 hours; length: 7.4 kilometres
Route: St. Marienkirchen centre - after the Wurm bakery, turn left towards the Polsenz - left along the stream - then over the bridge - left towards Marienfeld - around 1.5 kilometres along the Polsenz (Klausenweg) - turn left at the signpost directly to the Polsenz - cross the main road - left 100 metres along the main road - right towards Güterweg Weinberg - after around one kilometre, turn left towards Untergrub / Sommersberg - past the chapel straight ahead to Wetterkreuz - left downhill back to the village centre.
The hiking map with the leisure trails in the Obst-Hügel-Land Nature Park is available from Monday to Friday during office hours in the Nature Park office and in the two municipal offices in Scharten and St. Marienkirchen.
