Description:
Starting from the school centre, the trail runs west towards Moarhof and along the riverside path to Brünning, then to Ritzing and Einburg. Passing the site of the former Einburg Castle, the trail leads via Ratzenberg into the Schacherwald forest. Here, between Ratzenberger Straße and the houses Krennhof 3 and 4, there were earth hut camps for refugees from the last two years of the Second World War. However, depressions today only hint at the former earth huts. Via Krennhof and the path along the Zeller Gröppe, the trail leads back to the market and the starting point.
