Tour to the Hut Adamek
First the way to the Adamekhut seems to be an easy walk along the lake Gosausee. But then, an exhausting hike to the hut follows.
From the Gosausee Inn on the Vorderen Gosausee, the best route is to hike to the right across the dam or to the left toward the Seeklausalm and the rear section of the lake. Continue deeper into the valley toward the Niedere Holzmeisteralm and the Gosaulacke, which is only periodically filled with water. Below the Launigg Waterfall, the forest trail ascends to the Luegbichl. Pass through a forest ditch to reach the Hinterer Gosausee. At the fork on its southern shore, take the trail to the right (Trail No. 614) toward the Adamekhütte and up to the Niederer Bärenstaffel. Passing alongside a ditch, the path leads to a steep escarpment, which the trail climbs via numerous switchbacks. Passing the ruins of the Grobgesteinhütte and crossing a mountain pine slope, you reach the Hoher Riedel, where the trail splits: Continue straight through the karst terrain toward the Schreiberwand and ascend in switchbacks to the Adamek Hut.

Please note: The trail runs through alpine terrain. Therefore, pay close attention to current weather conditions and hike the trail only when conditions are safe.
During thunderstorms, heavy rain, or storms, there is a significantly increased risk of rockfalls, boulder falls, and falling branches or tree parts. If conditions develop in this way, you should turn back or avoid the trail altogether.
Even in winter and spring, avalanches as well as alternating freezing and thawing conditions can increase the risk of rock and boulder falls. Snow, ice, and icy sections of the trail can further compromise safe travel. There is no snow removal service.
Pass through marked hazard areas quickly and without lingering. In particular, do not stop beneath rock faces, and be sure to observe any barriers in place.

Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau

Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau

Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue with bus 541/542 in the direction Gosausee
