Follow the tracks of the wood grouse to the oldest wooden church in Austria.
We start at Gasthof-Hochserner where we immediately enjoy the first great views over Mondsee and Irrsee. At the former mountain station of the ski lift, we turn left into the forest. This is followed by an ascent through a very natural forest until the Kolomanskirche church appears in front of us after about an hour's ascent. At the summit there is also the Kolomansbrunnen fountain, which invites you to stop for refreshments. Two radar stations of the Austrian army are also located on the summit. From the oldest wooden church in Austria, we return along the same path for the time being, but do not turn right at the crossroads we have already passed, but follow the path straight ahead to the Kolomanstaferl. We return to our starting point via the Hausstättergraben and the Schusterberg.
