This beautiful hike along Trail No. 8 leads up to the Meisterebenalm at 1,209 meters above sea level. Just about a five-minute walk from the Meisterebenalm is the Atterseeblick, which offers a stunning view of the entire Attersee.
The trail winds uphill along narrow forest paths and, in some places, along forest roads. In certain sections, the path narrows, and one short section is secured with a rope handrail.
Much of the route passes through the forest and shaded areas, making it particularly well-suited for hot summer days.
After a while, you’ll cross the Loidlbach. The trail then keeps to the left and leads uphill through steep wooded terrain to the Meisterebenalm. The alpine pasture is not staffed, so you should bring your own snacks and drinks.
From the Meisterebenalm to the Atterseeblick Viewpoint:
The Atterseeblick viewpoint is only about a five-minute walk from the Meisterebenalm. On clear days, it offers a stunning view across the entire Attersee. A bench with a table invites you to linger, and there is also a guestbook for visitors to sign.
The return trip follows the same route back to the starting point in Weißenbach.
