Bramhosenweg

This leisurely circular hike offers beautiful viewpoints of the surrounding mountains and the Attersee and leads through the Kiental along the wild and romantic Kienbach back to the starting point.

The hike on the Bramhosenweg is part of the Ostwanderweg and first leads from Seefeld to Blümigen. Continue uphill on the well-signposted path until you reach a fork in the road after a good hour. Keep right here on the Bramhosenweg and hike downhill towards Großalmstraße. At the next fork, turn right again and after a few minutes you will reach the Kienklause. After a rest at the inn, continue through the wild and romantic Kiental valley on a tarmac road along the Kienbach stream and reach the starting point in Seefeld after an hour.

*A nice alternative tour is to turn left at this fork in the path. This path leads to the Kamp summit meadow and the Bramhosen (960 m). If you choose this route up to the Bramhosen summit, you will need to plan an additional half an hour and then take the turn-off at the top towards Kienklause.  The optional detour to the Kamp summit meadow a little further down also extends the hike by around 30 minutes, but is worth it for the magnificent view.
