A leisurely walk in all seasons with almost uninterrupted views of Lake Attersee and the mountains. This route follows a paved path and roads with little traffic; it is suitable for strollers and wheelchair accessible.
This walk begins in Seefeld. From the Bleibtreu Villa on the main road, the Kirchenweg trail leads slightly uphill to the church hill. The enchanting panoramic view of the picturesque Attersee and the surrounding mountains can be enjoyed from several benches in the mountaineering village.It’s worth taking a look inside the late-Gothic church. Thanks to its magnificent location, it continues to attract painters and photographers. A special gem inside the church is the Binder Nativity scene, crafted by a local woodcarver.
The trail then leads down a few steps toward the village center. The steps can be bypassed via a short detour. Afterward, the route continues straight past the village center toward Weißenbach, through the village of Dorf to the forestry office.
The trail is also easily manageable with a stroller.
At the forestry office, you can turn back. Alternatively, you can continue the walk along the Nikoloweg to Weißenbach.
Completely suitable for wheelchairs. The object complies with the legally stipulated ÖNORM.
