Church trail Steinbach

Hiking trail Nr.5 is a leisurely stroll in all seasons with an almost uninterrupted view of the Attersee and the mountains. This tour leads over a paved path and roads with little traffic, is suitable for prams and wheelchairs.

This walk begins in Seefeld. From the Bleibtreuvilla on the main road, the Kirchenweg ascends up the church hill. The enchanting panoramic view of the picturesque Attersee and the surrounding mountains can be admired from several mountaineering village loungers. It is worth taking a look at the late Gothic church, which repeatedly attracts painters and photographers due to its magnificent location. A jewel inside the church is the "binder crib", which was made by a local carver.
After descending a few steps (which can be bypassed via a short detour) towards the center of the village, the path leads past the village center and straight ahead towards Weißenbach, via the village of Dorf to Forstamt. This path can easily be mastered with a stroller.

At Forstamt you can either turn back or continue walking along the Nikoloweg to Weißenbach.
