The Taiskirchen reservoir is located in the triangle between the districts of Ried, Schärding and Grieskirchen. A celebration by the water with a barbecue and overnight stay in a tent - it's possible at the reservoir.

Fixed three-legged barbecues have been set up for small barbecues. The two jetties promise romantic hours by the water. And a walk around the lake should be planned into your excursion. The "Lake Festival" organised by the Taiskirchen rural youth is a fixture at the reservoir in June. The lake is also used for other events, such as motorbike meetings. Camping and barbecues are possible free of charge on the designated pitches if booked in advance. In cold winters, the lake is popular with ice skaters and curling enthusiasts.
