The Roadlberg is a 778 metre high elevation in the municipalities of Alberndorf and Ottenschlag. The nature reserve is accessible via a 1.6 kilometre hiking trail that starts at the Roadlhof snack station.
The Roadlberg is characterised by mixed forests, in which the original copper beeches are represented alongside the spruce trees introduced as cultivated plants. The forests alternate with meadows. The "Edelwiese" is an example of a dry meadow where bluebells bloom and which is a valuable habitat for a whole range of rare plants. The same applies to dry stone walls, which are a valuable habitat for animals such as lizards and various insect species. The hiking trail around the Roadlberg is equipped with informative information boards
