Since 1 August, there has been a new culinary highlight in Attnang-Puchheim on Rathausplatz. The restaurant, café & bar "BROS" recently opened its doors. Naturally, Mayor Peter Groiß and Councillor for Economic Affairs Erika Fehringer were there to congratulate the new team on the opening.
Bljerim "Blacky" Ameti and Ivan Kasalo and their team have breathed new life into the pub. The rustic ambience of the pub has been preserved and refreshed with modern elements. Anyone entering the premises simply feels at home. "This restaurant in Attnang-Puchheim has been my dream since 2013, and now this dream of owning my own restaurant has actually come true. I simply feel at home here and am happy," says Blacky.
The menu offers a perfect mix of traditional and modern dishes, which are hidden behind funny names. So instead of the cordon bleu, you order "a blue string" and the salad with falafel dumplings becomes the "Gmaden Wiesn". From local classics such as vinegar sausage, Wiener schnitzel and goulash to salmon, beef and burgers and a large selection of vegan dishes, there is something to suit every taste.
Blacky and head chef Ivan are more than satisfied after the first week: "Thanks to our years of catering experience, we have many friends and were expecting quite a few guests, but our expectations were exceeded by far. We know many of our visitors, but there were also a lot of new faces."
BROS is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm and again from 5 pm. On Sundays, there is even hot food all day from 10 am to 10 pm.
