The Steyrerhütte is a family-friendly lodge has 24 beds, a large sun terrace and serves regional fare.
The Kasberg is a mountain range in the north of the Totes Gebirge in the Upper Austrian Salzkammergut and rises 1,747 m into the sky. The popular hiking peak is bordered by the Alm, Grünaubach and Steyerling rivers. In the midst of this wild beauty lies the Steyrerhütte at the foot of the Kasberg. The friendly innkeepers attract hikers with traditional home cooking from the region. Both in summer on the beautiful sun terrace and in winter in the warm parlor.Open all year round from Wednesday to Sunday and on public holidays.
Attention: From mid-September to early October, the Steyrerhütte is closed for three weeks due to a hunting ban.
