Kasberg of the Dead is a mountain massif in the north upstream in the Upper Austrian Salzkammergut is 1747 m high. The Kasberg is bounded by the rivers Alm, Grünaubach and Steyr Ling.
Amidst this wild beauty lies at the foot of Kasbergs below a fairytale Alm the Steyrerhütte.
The Steyrerhütte is a family-friendly lodge has 24 beds, a large sun terrace and serves regional fare.

Summer: early May to early November open all day.
Winter: Friday from 1 pm, Saturday and Sunday, and open all day from December 26th to January 6th.
