Guided Pilgrimage on the Wilheringer Pilgrimage Trail

We will follow the pilgrimage route in the specified stages, pausing at selected locations to reflect on the unique aspects of creation at each site—sometimes through song. In each church, I will accompany the hymns sung there on the organ and play meditative music. Anyone who wishes to may bring a guitar and accompany the rhythmic songs.

In Vyssi Brod, there should be enough time to explore the monastery on your own.

WALKING; LISTENING; SEEING; SINGING
Dates: September 3–5, 2026

Route: Day 1: Wilhering – Puchenau – Eidenberg 22.5 km, 700 m elevation gain
Day 2: Eidenberg – Zwettl – Bad Leonfelden 22.3 km, 580 m elevation gain
Day 3: Bad Leonfelden – Vyssi Brod 18 km, 280 m elevation gain

Start at Stiftshof in Wilhering at 8:00 a.m.; return via public buses (Vyssi Brod–Bad Leonfelden–Linz–Wilhering); arrival at 6:45 p.m.
Accommodation on Day 1: Eidenberger’s Herberge; accommodation on Day 2: Hotel Brunnwald; self-booking, group reservation secured (Sulzner Pilgrimage Group)

Cost per person: €120 per person plus lodging, ferry and bus fares, meals, and any additional expenses (admission fees, etc.)

Maximum number of participants: 12
