Our foray takes us to mossy granite humps from times long past. They were once the heart of a gigantic mountain range. If you want to comprehend and sense incredible periods of time, then the Mühlviertel Nature Park is the right place for you!
And what's more: lemony, tangy fragrances fill our nostrils here, where quendel and wild thyme thrive. Highly valued for lungs, skin and stomach, it is also able to "redeem enchanted toads", as the legend goes, which we listen to in the herb meadow. More about its healing powers will be revealed as we conjure up our own quendel elixir. At the Großdöllnerhof, we'll enjoy a glass of quendel liqueur and let the impressions of the day sink in.
