Way description

You do need to be in good physical condition for this hike. This is because the path is demanding, steep and the last section after the forest road leads in serpentines to the destination.

The start is the car park at the Achbrücke bridge, where you follow the gravel road past the house into the forest. Follow the gravel road for a while until a yellow signpost points the way to the left. There, the path goes uphill for a while and past a wood deposit. The path then continues along a hiking trail.
On the forest floor and a beautiful hiking trail, you reach the forest road. This is crossed. Now comes the challenging part of this hike. Over serpentines and numerous steps, the last section leads to the Alm, which is reached at the top through an animal gate (a swinging gate).
Return along the same path.
