Description: On the Trans National Park route between Haslersgatter, Steyrsteg and Windischgarsten (stage 2) the path is partially washed out by storms, please take care!
E-Bike Enjoyment Tour in 7 daily stages with about 460 km and about 5,000 m altitude difference
The route is well marked, mostly along state bike paths following rivers and waters from the Steyr Valley via the Kremstal and Almtal to Gmunden, then on to the transition to the Alpine foothills to Bad Hall, over Wolfern and Steyr into the Ennstal and via the Reichraminger Hintergebirge into the Pyhrn-Priel region and back to Steyr.
Stage 2
The 2nd stage leads on side roads from Schlierbach via Inzersdorf towards Pettenbach. Passing the pilgrimage churches Magdalenaberg and Heiligenleithen, you reach the bike path R11 and follow it through Viechtwang and Grünau to the Almsee in the picturesque valley end of the Almtal at the foot of the Totes Gebirge. The tour follows the same route back to the Scharnstein airfield. From here you continue via St. Konrad, Kranichsteg, then through the Laudach Valley via "Franzl im Holz" to the stage destination Gmunden.
