This trail is one of nine adventure hiking trails of the Adventure Hiking Pass “AbenteuerWanderPass”. Children can collect stamps on the paths and redeem small gifts for them in the information offices of the Attersee-Attergau holiday region. This means that even more children will love hiking.
We start at the Museum of Glass in Weißenkirchen where we get an impression of the wide range of products that were made at the former "Glashütte Freudenthal" until 1942.
The tour, which is approximately 2.5 km long, is organized into six main themes from the magic of glass to the interaction of nature and medicine.
Children will love the several action spots such as the turned around aquarium, the rainbow house or the dragonfly swing.
The Valley of Glass is awaiting you with its seasonable charm changing like the landscape in which it is embedded.
This path is suitable for pushchairs from the parking lot in the middle (station 7 Verkehres Aquarium). The area from the Abzweig car park down to the glass bridge is very steep in parts and therefore not suitable for prams.
