Tip:
Dear mountain lovers, welcome to the Amstettner Hut!
Our hut is currently run on a volunteer basis by the section’s own hut teams; the Amstettner Hut is NOT a self-catering hut! You can find the current opening hours below. If you’re interested in joining the teams or have any questions, please contact Stephan Göbl or Martin Rainer. The trail up to the hut through the Kasertal has been newly signposted and does NOT pass through any grazing land! Leave the forest road at the sharp hairpin turn and follow the hiking trail through the forest.
Mountain Mass at the Forsteralm near the Mountaineers’ Memorial Cross on Sunday, September 27, at 10:30 a.m., with Chaplain Franz Sieder and the “Blindenmarkter Tanzlmusi.” Followed by a morning beer at the Amstettner Hütte.
