Zillen Construction - Traditional Danube vessels crafted by master artisans.

In a small family-run business, Zillen are crafted in a wide variety of styles, tailored entirely to customer specifications. Traditional Zillen, Plätten, and Trauner are just as much a part of the repertoire as Weidlinge, ferry boats, and fishing Zillen. We’ve recently added wooden sailboats to our lineup, built based on a design by sailing icon Hubert Raudaschl.

In addition to a few “standard designs,” we are as flexible as possible when it comes to the boat’s shape, interior layout, and, if necessary, the superstructure. During a personal consultation, you can discuss your ideas with us, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
