Join us on a captivating journey with an electric car through Upper Austria. Experience the picturesque hills of the Mühlviertel region, the natural paradise of the Kalkalpen National Park, the fascinating mountains of the Pyhrn-Priel region, the area around the majestic Hoher Dachstein mountain in the Salzkammergut region and the beautiful Danube Valley. Along the route, you’ll have time to explore sights and recharge your personal batteries. And don’t worry, there are, of course, charging options available for your electric car along the way and at the hotels. Enjoy an unforgettable and environmentally friendly trip.
The journey begins at the Genießerhotel Bergergut in the charming village of Afiesl in the Mühlviertel region, hosted by the warm-hearted couple consisting of Eva-Maria Pürmayer and Thomas Hofer. This delightful pair places great emphasis on nature, supports local producers and embraces a sustainable lifestyle, which is also reflected in their cuisine. Thomas Hofer is an award-winning chef who creates delicious dishes using ingredients from nearby farmers and fresh herbs from their own garden. The table linens are crafted by talented linen weavers from the region, and the elegant porcelain comes from a small studio in the Mühlviertel region. Eva-Maria Pürmayer takes pride in her homeland, cherishes traditions and passionately advocates for “green travel.” Part of this commitment includes not only alternative energy concepts but also the electric charging infrastructure available at the hotel.
