The unique "Museum of the future" sprawls along the banks of the Danube.

This museum is a place to participate, research and discover. The center hosts several exhibitions on the topics of biotechnology and genetic engineering, neurology, robotics, prosthetics and media art at the same time. Infocoaches bring visitors closer to the content of the museum and encourage them to actively try things out. Touchings things is not forbidden but expressly desired.

Four labs - by no means strictly segregated from one another - examine how we human beings and the world we inhabit have changed, how we influence our environment, and how our world might be in the future.

Once a year, the Ars Electronica Festival takes place, famous far beyond Austria's borders.

Deep Space 8K

The Deep Space opens up a new dimension of travelling through time and space: 16 times 9 meters of wall projection and another 16 times 9 meters of ground projection, laser tracking and 3D animations show high-resolution images. Discoverin the human anatomy or travelling through  the universe? - the Deep Space 8K makes it possible!
