Jazz Christmas: The Gospel of the Blues
The Gospel of the Blues - Carol Alston Meets Paul Zauner
Soul, jazz, and gospel singer CAROLE ALSTON from Washington, D.C., is regarded by many music lovers around the world as one of the most elegant and powerful voices. Having grown up in the community surrounding her family’s church in Washington, she bridges the musical gap between gospel, soul, and R&B, very much in the spirit of the influential musician Sister Rosetta Tharpe.Organizer: Schärding Cultural Association
