A touch of Dolce Vita in the center of Gmunden

Where the Gmunden weekly market traditionally sets up every Tuesday – at Gmunden Town Hall Square – for four days in May, salami, Parma ham, antipasti, and Italian live music take center stage. Also becoming a tradition, the popular Italian market makes a stop in Gmunden.
From salami to Parma ham, around 40 types of cheese from Pecorino from Sardinia to Toma from Lombardy and Grana from Trentino, durum wheat bread from Sicily, as well as almond pastries and wines from various regions and provinces, olive oils, pickled vegetables and fruits from Calabria, truffle specialties – this is just a selection of the specialties that will add a touch of Mediterranean flair to Gmunden's city center for four days in May.
Around 30 farmers, direct marketers, winemakers, and merchants – from Sicily to South Tyrol – will showcase their products and delicacies at their stands in Gmunden Town Hall Square. The city of Gmunden looks forward to your visit!
