From the sea floor to the alpine floor

On a hike to the Gschwendtalm (near Großraming), we encounter contemporary witnesses of days long past. Stones and spectacular reef limestones reveal many a secret about the formation of the landscape. A collection of typical rocks and fossils sorted by age helps us to understand the geology of the Reichraminger Hintergebirge.
