Every year, the artisans of Ischl invite you to their traditional Christmas market in the historic Trinkhalle. Look forward to authentic “handmade” goods from the imperial town, typical culinary delights, and an atmospheric and varied program of events. The Ischl artisans are known far beyond the borders of the Salzkammergut for their skill in combining beauty with practicality. That is precisely what craftsmanship means in Ischl. An art that is cultivated here in its most beautiful form and presented during Advent in the pre-Christmas atmosphere of the elegantly decorated Trinkhalle. That said, Ischl’s artisans understand “presentation” to mean much more than simply displaying their works.
