In the year 1855 a "Cur-Musikkapelle" was founded in Bad Hall. Since then, apart from an interruption during the First World War, there have been regular spa concerts.
The orchestration was different.
The Bad Haller Kurorchester is an integral part of the cultural life in Bad Hall and provides musical entertainment of a high standard throughout the year. From May to September, the large orchestral ensemble captivates every Sunday and on public holidays with varied concerts under changing themes. The repertoire ranges from classical spa music to popular operetta and film melodies, as well as lively evergreens and modern arrangements.
In good weather, the concerts take place in the idyllic music pavilion in the heart of the picturesque spa park, inviting guests to enjoy music in a special atmosphere. If the weather does not cooperate, the events are moved to the guest center (former pump room), where visitors can experience the performances in a pleasant environment.
There are also concerts by brass bands, big bands, vocal ensembles, jazz, and much more.
Even in the winter months from October to April, the Kurorchester remains musically active. In different ensemble formations, it presents a diverse program at the guest center, ranging from chamber music works to lively entertainment music, and seasonal and thematic concerts. This way, the Bad Haller Kurorchester offers cultural highlights for both guests and locals throughout the year. (Subject to change)
