The Basilica of St. Lawrence is a witness to time through the centuries: First a Roman palace stood here, then an early Christian church. It was a long way to today's church building and the impressive traces of this history are still visible today.

Accessibility / arrivalMotorway A1, exit Enns West, roundabout first exit direction Asten/Enns, 2nd roundabout first exit, along Astner Straße to Enns. Turn left into Lauriacumstraße until you reach the basilica.

Impressive archeological excavations await you under the Basilica St. Laurenz in the Lorch district. The oldest parts reach abck to the time of the Roman governor´s palace.
