The Elbe Sandstone Mountains are a unique climbing paradise … but only for those who appreciate minimalist protection and a strict climbing ethic. Jörg and Luise have thoroughly explored the cradle of free climbing and report on breathtaking towers, enchanting landscapes, knot slings, and an approach to the sport that has hardly changed in over a hundred years.
