The Little Witch

The Steyrer Volksbühne's traditional pre-Christmas children's play for all ages.

Through magic and fate, some people find themselves in a mysterious fairy-tale world and soon become pawns in the hands of powerful beings. Right in the middle of it all is the little witch, who really wants only one thing:
To be a good witch.

A competition among witches for a rocket broom—the fastest and best broom in the fairy-tale world—begins. Will the little witch manage to win this special broom?
Can she and her friends help the people?

But even in the fairy-tale forest, things have been thrown out of balance.
What about the elves? Will they finally be able to live in peace in their forest again? And what secret does the strange cat hide? What magic surrounds her?

And then there’s the old, wise man of the forest.
He knows the secrets of the forest and may know more than he initially reveals. Can he perhaps help the little witch and her friends? Does he have a solution to all these mysterious events, and what does he have in common with the cat?

The Steyrer Volksbühne ensemble guarantees plenty of fun and even more excitement.
Once again, the two authors responsible for the script and direction, Doris Ahrer and
Wolfgang Lehrermayr, responsible for the script and direction, have once again succeeded in bringing a wonderful and enchanting fairy tale for the whole family to the stage.
