On Sunday, November 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the town center of Micheldorf will be transformed into a festive gathering place for the whole family, inviting visitors to enjoy a cozy start to the Advent season.
All around the town square, numerous vendors will showcase high-quality handicrafts, regional specialties, and lovingly crafted gift ideas. From woodwork, jewelry, and books to honey products, jams, and herbal goods, there’s plenty to discover.
Punch, mulled cider, and numerous regional delicacies invite you to indulge and leave nothing to be desired in terms of culinary delights.
A varied program of events accompanies the Advent market: Advent-themed music from the choir school of the Kirchdorf Regional Music School, the Weinzierl-Altpernstein Music Association, and the Micheldorf Jagag’sang creates a festive pre-Christmas atmosphere.
This year marks the premiere of the storytelling walks with Annemarie Rumerstorfer. These fairy-tale-like walks lead from the town square to the Scythe Smith Museum and invite young and old alike to experience stories, immerse themselves in the Advent spirit, and discover Micheldorf in a special way. The storytelling walks take place at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. and are free and open to anyone interested—no registration required.
The Scythe Smith Museum opens its doors from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and also features a small nativity scene exhibition. A special message from the Christ Child awaits the youngest visitors. The traditional Krampus parade by the Kremstaler Burgteufel provides a festive finale.
