A major highlight right at the start of November:
The Museum of the Working World has succeeded in bringing the Kalksburg faculty to Steyr in full force.
The Klangkombinat is in the same league as “Die Strottern & Jazzwerkstatt Wien,” “5/8erl in Ehr’n & Jazzorchester Vorarlberg,” and “Yasmo & die Klangkantine.”
The stage in the museum’s main hall is being expanded, a grand piano for Oskar Aichinger is being delivered, and nine musicians will take the stage, elevating the Kollegium Kalksburg to yet another level.
And there’s “Liebe ohne Leiden” with Wolfgang Vinzenz Wizlsperger as Udo and Martin Zrost (of Trio Lepschi, among others) as Jenny Jürgens.
If you haven't seen or heard this...
By the way: The ensemble performs very rarely, and November 6 at the Museum Arbeitswelt might actually be their very last performance...
