Photo Exhibition at the Ennstal Visitor Center

The darker the sky, the brighter and more wondrous the stars—Photo Exhibition by Christian Schörkhuber

I, Christian Schörkhuber, would like to cordially invite you to the photo exhibition “The Darker the Sky, the Brighter and More Wonderful the Stars,” which will be on display from October 1 through November 13, 2026, at the Ennstal Visitor Center.

The exhibition will feature astronomical photographs I have taken that highlight the fantastic starry sky above our heads. Many of these photographs were taken in the immediate vicinity or right here in my hometown of Großraming. A small selection of images from the trips I’ve been taking over the past few years for astrophotography will also be on display. My photographic work is also intended to draw attention to the ever-increasing problem of light pollution and to give visitors a closer look at our wonderful starry sky in the Ennstal.
