Rumpelstiltskin

A fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm—performed by the ensemble of the Kellertheater in Linz. In German.

“Rumpelstiltskin” is a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm about a young miller’s daughter who, because of her father’s boasting, is forced to spin straw into gold. A strange little man helps her out of her predicament, but demands a high price in return: her first child. Only if she guesses his name will she be free. With courage, cleverness, and a little luck, she finally figures out the mysterious little man’s secret.

The ensemble of the Kellertheater in Linz tells this story full of wit, music, and heart—a theatrical experience for the whole family.
