Klassik am Dom: Brass Band Music at the Cathedral

A first-class musical experience—the collaboration between “Klassik am Dom” and the Upper Austrian Wind Music Association promises highlights of wind music featuring the Original Woodstock Musikanten and the Ensemble Pro Brass.

“Brass Music at the Cathedral” thus bridges two musical worlds and impressively demonstrates just how multifaceted brass music can be: true to tradition and authentic, yet at the same time virtuosic, creative, and surprising. Against the imposing backdrop of Linz’s Mariendom, a concert evening takes shape that is designed to appeal not only to die-hard brass band fans but also to music lovers far beyond the boundaries of the genre.
