Klassik am Dom: Peter Cornelius
4020 Linz
For over five decades, Peter Cornelius has been one of the most successful singer-songwriters in the German-speaking world.
Many of his songs have long since become part of the cultural canon—classics like “Reif für die Insel,” “Segel im Wind,” and, of course, “Du entschuldige i kenn di.”
Frontman, singer-songwriter, and lead guitarist Peter Cornelius, known for his soulful ballads and up-tempo songs with profound lyrics—and also beloved for his virtuoso guitar playing—celebrated his 75th birthday in 2026 with a major tour, which will continue in 2027. Joining him on stage is his band—bass, drums, and keyboards.
Peter Cornelius & Band Live is an absolutely timeless highlight on the “Klassik am Dom” concert calendar!
