Voxford is a contemporary Croatian a cappella group consisting of five members: Dora, Vita, Ante, David, and Josip. Founded by young musicians with solid training, choir experience, and deep roots in traditional Dalmatian Klapa singing, the group shares a common passion for vocal harmony and creative arrangements.

They first gained attention in 2021 with short a cappella clips on social media. What began as spontaneous musical experimentation quickly developed into a viral success: millions of views and a steadily growing audience made Voxford one of the most exciting new vocal ensembles in the region. Their videos have now reached over 250 million views and led to collaborations with well-known artists from Croatia and the entire Balkan region.

The sound of Voxford arises from a distinctive mix of modern a cappella techniques and traditional Klapa singing – an intangible cultural heritage of Croatia. This combination creates a warm, recognizable style that unites contemporary pop aesthetics with the harmonic roots of the Adriatic coast. Unlike many modern a cappella groups, they rely less on beatboxing or strong percussion and focus more on pure vocal sound and complex harmonies. At the same time, they repeatedly collaborate with instrumentalists to expand their sound spectrum.

In addition to their online presence, Voxford has also developed a strong profile live. They hold their own concerts throughout Croatia – especially during the Advent season – and regularly perform in coastal towns during the summer. Furthermore, they are heard throughout the year at weddings and corporate events, further emphasizing their versatility.

The group has already appeared on some of the most significant stages in the region, including the Kursalon Hübner in Vienna, the Križanke Open-Air Theater in Ljubljana, and the Arena Zagreb. There, they performed as guests of renowned Croatian artists such as Toni Hulji and Dalmatino – important milestones in their still young career.

With a foundation in tradition and a path strongly shaped by the digital present, Voxford embodies a new generation of vocal artists. Their ability to connect cultural heritage with modern musical currents captivates a steadily growing audience both domestically and internationally, making them a distinctive voice in the international a cappella scene.
