Echo of Freedom - Reading

Memory, Responsibility, and Freedom— a topic that concerns us all.

On Friday, November 6, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., we invite you to the Neufelden parish hall for an evening of conversation and short readings.

Dr. Franz J. Kepplinger will read from his debut political novel, *Die Qual der Wahl*.

Dr. Andreas Maislinger will speak about the culture of remembrance, the Holocaust, and human rights, and will present his book *Sichere Bindung. My Childhood 1955–1970.” He shared a close friendship with film producer Branko Lustig, who passed away in 2019 and was involved, among other projects, as a producer on Steven Spielberg’s “Schindler’s List” and Sir Ridley Scott’s “Gladiator.”

Fritz Agfalterer and Franz Saxinger will host the evening. Kurt Edlmair and Ernst Schietz will provide musical accompaniment.

There will also be a wine tasting in the foyer featuring wines from the Schwaiger Winery.
