"German Gents"

Vocal

“Life Could Be a Dream” – under this motto, the four young gentlemen from Berlin take their audience on a musical journey between dream and reality. In their new a cappella program, English and American evergreens blend with jazz standards, French chanson flair, German cult songs, and classics from the roaring twenties to create a unique concert experience.
With their unmistakable a cappella sound, old hits shine in a new light – from Charles Trenet to the Beatles, from the Comedian Harmonists to Reinhard Mey. Whether dreamy, lively, or heartwarming – the German Gents combine musical nostalgia with youthful freshness and a large portion of charm.
Look forward to an evening full of musical dreams – be there:
“Life Could Be a Dream”!

Music from Charles Trenet to the Beatles, from the Comedian Harmonists to Reinhard Mey.

The German Gents are an a cappella quartet from Berlin that emerged in 2018 from former singers of the State and Cathedral Choir – one of the most renowned boys' choirs in Germany. Shortly after their formation, the four won 1st prize, the audience award, and two special prizes at the International A Cappella Competition Leipzig 2019!
On stage, they combine the charm of American classics from the '50s and '60s with the sparkling melodies of the golden '20s – while charmingly bridging the gap to the present.
Modern pop songs and even viral social media trends find their place alongside the tradition of romantic male choir music. The four singers know how to unite tradition and contemporary spirit with wit, style, and feeling to honor their classical roots as well as their youth. The quality of their individual voices, their colorful harmony, and captivating emotions enchant the audience – both on international stages and online.
Currently, the German Gents are invited by numerous concert organizers and prestigious festivals, including the Rheingau Music Festival, the Live From London Christmas Festival, and the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival (SHMF). Further concerts take them throughout Germany and Europe – with stops in cities like Paris, Vienna, and Luxembourg.
A highlight of each season is the atmospheric Christmas tour of the German Gents, where they delight audiences across Germany with Christmas classics from around the world, jazzy sounds, and modern arrangements.

In social media, the German Gents also stir excitement with their short videos and creative collaborations: Over 900,000 fans already follow them on TikTok and Instagram, and their clips regularly garner millions of views. With their unique arrangements – from classics to brand-new hits – they reach an audience far beyond the traditional a cappella scene.

In 2023, their debut album “L.O.V.E.” was released. Their second album featuring international Christmas titles will be released in November 2025 – accompanied by a digital compilation of their most popular social media hits.

"Not only does the 'boy group' possess unique, clear, and colorful voices both individually and as a singing quartet, but their own youth also draws equally young audiences to their a cappella concerts across the region"
Rheinische Post - 07.10.2024
