As a long-time musical companion of greats like Rainhard Fendrich, Georg Danzer, and Wolfgang Ambros, as well as a studio musician for José Carreras and the Vienna Boys' Choir, Mario Berger has significantly influenced the Austrian music scene.
But in his solo programs, the guitar virtuoso showcases his very personal signature: a passionate blend of South American rhythms to classical music.
With a fine sense for atmosphere, he creates soundscapes with 5 guitars that go far beyond the purely instrumental – authentic, versatile, and full of passion.
Mario Berger represents instrumental music at a world-class level. His style – a masterful symbiosis of classical and world music – creates a captivating concert highlight that invites both dreaming and awe. Filled with cheerful anecdotes and stories from 40 years on stage.
