ASMIK GRIGORIAN: A global superstar is coming to the Salzkammergut.

With Asmik Grigorian, the Salzkammergut Festwochen Gmunden welcomes one of the greatest opera stars of our time to Toscanapark. The internationally acclaimed soprano captivates audiences on the world’s most prestigious stages—from the Salzburg Festival to the Metropolitan Opera in New York—with her extraordinary stage presence, emotional expressiveness, and a voice of unmistakable intensity.

Together with the Bruckner Orchestra Linz and its principal conductor Markus Poschner, she will create an extraordinary summer evening under the open sky. Against the unique backdrop of the Traunstein, grand opera artistry blends with the special atmosphere of the Salzkammergut to create a concert experience that impressively unites musical excellence and scenic beauty.

The concert also marks a special milestone: in 2027, Markus Poschner will conduct his final Salzkammergut Open Air concerts as chief conductor of the Bruckner Orchestra Linz. After many summers together in Toscanapark, this evening promises to be yet another highlight of an artistically defining collaboration.
