The Night of 1,000 Lights

Seeking and finding God…

Searching… you know how it is.
With all the work, worries, and stress, you can’t really get a chance to think.

But then that feeling stirs inside you: What’s really going on with my life?

Where from, where to, and why? Who can I truly lean on?

Once again this year, the Frauenstein parish invites you to the Night of 1,000 Lights .

In the special atmosphere of the church, lit only by candles, a path with various stations has been set up, inviting you to reflect and pause. The themes include: being called, asking, giving thanks, lamenting, being strengthened, seeking and finding God.

From 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., everyone is welcome to walk the path at their own pace and linger at each station as long as it feels right.

Afterward, we invite you to enjoy a light snack and engage in conversation during a cozy get-together.

Between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., we’ll have a craft station for children at the Alte Schule parish community center. This gives parents the opportunity to walk the path again on their own, at their own pace, after visiting together.
