Vivaldi for Kids

We celebrate the autumn festivals with music, and enjoy the cozy warmth of the fireplace in winter. 

The Upper Austrian Youth Symphony Orchestra (JSO) is made up of the state’s best young musicians. They are accompanied by instructors from the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, the Anton Bruckner Private University, and the Upper Austrian State Music School System. On Sunday, November 8, at 4:00 p.m. in the Bernardisaal, the orchestra will perform Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, specially arranged for children. 

With virtuosic skill, the violins depict the birdsong of spring, violent thunderstorms, and the sweltering heat of summer. We’ll celebrate the autumn festivals through music and enjoy the cozy warmth of a fireplace in winter, even as freezing cold reigns outside. Excitingly narrated and impressively performed—even for the youngest music lovers! (Ages 4 and up).

Tickets & Advance Sales

Advance ticket sales begin 3 weeks before the concert date. Tickets are available at the Abbey Gate (Panorama entrance) or at the box office on the night of the concert. Advance ticket sales and reservations are available during the Abbey Gate’s opening hours, as well as by contacting the church music office.
