“Lili in Purple”—A Love of Literature in the Purple Literature Cave is the name of the new event series at the Gmunden Public Library.

Renowned Austrian authors will present their latest novels: there will be listening, moderation, discussion, and in-depth analysis:

A difficult childhood, many years as a single mother: Without her best friend Helene, Viktoria would never have made it through it all. Now that her daughter is grown, the biologist is fulfilling a long-cherished dream and researching the behavior of ravens. But when a raven she raised by hand seems to want to tell her something—and at the same time a man nearly twenty years her junior enters her life—her world is once again thrown into turmoil. Viktoria falls in love and tries to solve the raven’s mystery—and in doing so risks the very thing that has always sustained her: her friendship with Helene.
