Transient Tides

Exhibition featuring works by Katharina Anna Loidl.

The exhibition explores architecture and landscape as temporary assemblages of material, ecological, and social dynamics of transformation.

Works in the media of printmaking, installation, video, and photography connect erosion, extraction, and regeneration with historical, contemporary, and futuristic perspectives. In the face of the forces of nature and finitude, a moment of the sublime emerges: the possibility of destruction confronts the human impulse for self-preservation and the question of what can endure beyond time.

Opening Reception: October 20, 7:00 p.m.
