Making the world one’s own. Through exploration. Through language, writing, and art. Three artistic approaches—as diverse as they are related—are dedicated to this mindset.

Felix Dieckmann, who passed away last year, expressed this aspiration through woodcuts and drawings that are both minimalist and vibrant. Theater, literature, and writing are recurring themes in his art.

Anita Lehner writes, prints, designs, deconstructs, and reassembles—thus connecting the past with the present.

In his search for identity, Florian Boehm plays with the interplay and coexistence of writing, language, color, form, space, and meaning, and experiments with materials of varying textures and meanings.

Here, appropriation is not a matter of claiming ownership, but rather of questioning, inscribing, and reinterpreting what is already there.
