The total work of art, when pushed to its climax—the absolute alignment of a captive viewer’s perceptions— resembles the techniques of mental manipulation used by totalitarian regimes, which operate through the suppression of critical thinking, repeated semantic indoctrination, and subliminal messages. TOTAL is an audiovisual concert that aims to reconstruct the processes of will-exercise through repetition and absolute synchronism, in order to subsequently deconstruct them more effectively and propose a breakthrough toward a potentially life-saving de-coincidence.
