WATER DAYS Leader Region Attersee-Attergau

The Water Days are a series of events organized by the REGATTA Attersee-Attergau Regional Development Association. The first Regatta Water Days took place from October 9 to October 12, 2025, and featured a total of 25 exciting activities and individual events centered around the theme of water.

This year, the Regatta Water Days will take place from October 2 to October 4, 2026, and will feature a total of 19 exciting activities and individual events centered around the theme of water.

The Regatta Water Days are designed to promote water literacy and waterway conservation in the region. Participation in the activities is free, though registration is required for some events.

The following events are open to the public:

Thursday, September 24, and Friday, September 25, 2026

• Austrian Lake Conference / Departure at 1:00 p.m. – Panoramic boat tour in Weyregg

Friday, October 2, 2026

• From Egg to Young Fish / starting at 9:00 a.m. / Behind-the-scenes tour of the Kreuzstein fish farm
• In the Footsteps of St. Bründl / 10 :00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. / Free walking tour with meditation, water tasting, and snacks
• Alpine Water Through the Ages (and Climate Change) and Its Significance for Lake Attersee / Free multimedia show / 4:00 PM / Schörfling Nature Park Middle School
• Opening Night of the REGATTA Water Days 2026 / Kickoff & Networking with a Keynote Speech / 6:00 PM / Hotel Ragginger, Nußdorf
