Guided Tour of the Flood Retention Basins Under Construction on the Dürren Ager
As a supplement to the project exhibition at the Haus der Kultur, DI Gerhard Schlachl will lead a tour directly on-site to the flood retention basins currently under construction on the Dürren Ager. Participants will gain practical insights into the scale and functionality of the construction work, as well as the catch basins for debris and driftwood.

Guided Tour of the Flood Retention Basins Under Construction on the Dürren Ager
As an in-depth supplement to the project exhibition at the Haus der Kultur, this field trip offers the opportunity to learn about flood protection measures firsthand on site. Under the expert guidance of project manager DI Gerhard Schlachl, participants will tour the flood retention basins currently under construction along the Dürren Ager.
During the tour, interested visitors will learn firsthand how the various structures—including specialized catch basins for debris and driftwood—function and how they are intended to protect the surrounding communities from extreme weather events in the future.
